Our History

aDB Structural Engineering Inc. is a consulting firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Established by Andrew Boettcher in December, 2009, aDB was re-branded and moved to its current location when Sean Dingley joined the firm in January, 2011. From our modest beginnings of 4 employees, we are rapidly expanding to meet demand both locally and nationally. Our current complement of 20 employees includes Engineers and Technical Specialists offering a wide variety of expertise in construction and design.

Our loyal client base of construction companies, architects, contractors, suppliers and satisfied homeowners consistently refer our services to their colleagues. Pioneers in our niche, both Sean and Andrew provide the creative, innovative, practical and efficient solutions that you’re looking for. Both Engineers are committed members on the following CSA Committees: Formwork/Falsework, Temporary Structures Task Force, and Scaffolding.
